“Youth is the hope of our Mother Land”

What a quote right? Since I was a child I was born bring that quote until I grow up. But at the back of my mind I made some questions does the youth today is probably the hope of our land? But I was still hoping this quotes still working and more developed.

Nowadays since we are living in a civilized unity those teenager are early become a child   mom, become a mother in there mirror stage, perhaps some of them make some stupidity instead they are in school to learned, they rather choose to stay outside of street together with their friend just having “GIMMICK” and the worst thing of it they were able to enter the world of drugs. As far as I know drugs is a worst thing done of a person until they found their selves useless and been already damage. Sometimes it leads you to do badly to your fellowmen.

It’s been so great to be a youth this generation, not great for those negative happenings but instead it was so great in so many ways. A youth like me was so honored and blessed for having a grateful parents because of them they make my life wonderful, my life was full of joyful moment and lots of good morals.

A good virtue is in the person and life is a gift of god to us, we do not waste our life to unuseful things. Because life is the soul of our body, if you think your life is boring there are many good things to do like for example to be a member of one foundation that pursuing our mother earth like three planting and help the street children who doesn’t go to school, there are many interesting things to do to help some body.

We need to control our emotions to do bad things to our fellowmen and to our mother earth. In fact purity to our self and to everyone is the best gift in God.

Fraternity

                A fraternity  is a brotherhood, though the term usually connotes a distinct or formal organization and a secret society. Many of our youth are engage and involve in this kind of organization. Because they believe that there are benefits for them, In fact it has ,but it slightly defferent as they expected. Some  of these give’s you happiness and fullfilness because of lack and emptiness,but some of them are hopeless or either they led into death.

                Fraternity are one of problem of people inside of community, some residents are affected if they have a riot, against one gang to another, in the middle of the night which usually there time.Even some of fraternity are allowed or approved by the government ,but they still a threat to other people.

                I have a known person that involve in a frat,I asked him what benefits are give to them ? he said, I have a lot of friends, I’m not affraid if I walk on the street,because I have a friends to help me at all time, I’m confident what ever I do,no people say to me what I’m suppose to do, because they are affraid ,rather  than may mother. I also asked him if what are the reason why they fight against to other  team? He said” payabangan ng clan” and sometime’s it just a trip,if they combine as a clan or a group in a fraternity. And there’s a part ,he said that one of there member are loss, because of riot.

                I try to realize to him, are you not affraid to die because of that, even its give’s you hurt, wounds injury and death, he simply reply no I’m not affraid this is the way  I choose I fight for it ,for myself and for my clan.

                Now I realize even your fraternity is allowed or not by the government, it’s hard to avoid and prevent, because of many youth are  engage in these organization and some of them have a family now. I want to say that it necessarily stop these, because it’s give you nothingless  and sometime’s it brings you into death. Our government must empowered and take advancement to how stop this, because many youthful are prolong and welling to join in these kind of uselessness in life.

                Now if you one of them, just think and realize the other side of the very useful  things on earth. As you can , leave your clan and make a good life and back to  GOD. As a youth, you can help and teach. You can create and manage the beautiful things in life, o that many people are become happy if what your  done. Not to be a threat to other people, be an  inspiration to all, as a youth there are many things in life to be accomplished, we do not focus in useless part of our  life. Because life is a beautiful gift of GOD, we need to reached it and developed it in a good way. And always remember GOD is always at here to guide us in a good way.

                And I hope that you are not become one of the problem of our society. Be a good example to all.

Int-A: Internet Addiction

                In our modern time, there are no impossible. It is simply because we are high- tech now. We can easily enter in the world of Internet. At present time, there are almost  8 out of 10 youth  know about computer or Internet even it is doesn’t  teach in school they can easily learn it due to computer shops almost everywhere where  they can easily learn it.

                When youths have enough knowledge in using computer, they can easily access online gaming or they can socialize by the help of social networking sites like, Facebook, Friendster, Twitter, Multiply, etc. Some people, specially youths, think that they are weak in real life, but when they enter in the world of Internet, specially in gaming world, they transform into a character that they choose to use and become strong, powerful and skillful saying that ”Only the Strong Will Survive  and there are no space for weak”.  Because the character in the games is like a real human, many youths are paying too much attention playing online games. Internet is one way to express an emotion and feelings, to meet new friends or partner in life by means of chatting or talking them.

                Many youths are becoming addict in the Internet Gaming or Online Games, like for example Ran Online, Ragnarok, RF Online, Special Force and etc. Just like the very famous game DOTA or Defense of the Ancient, this game is very familiar especially to boys and sometimes they play for money against other player. But any kind of game that involves money is Gambling. And that is one problem of youths today. They learn gambling, laying and selling some other valuable things due to addiction. They have no time for their family and they do not do their obligations in house and in school, even though they do eat in proper time. This are the effects of becoming an Internet addict, they forgot the thing s that they need to do.

                But if the Internet gave us happiness and information, it also gave sadness and danger to everyone like losing in game, becoming victims of other people having a bad interest. We always need to be wise at all time and place to avoid such incident.

                Internet Addiction is one problem that everyone needs to be aware of. Most of the victims of this problem are the youths.  We need to make a step to help them. Time is very precious. We need not to waste it. We have a mission in life that is very important for us and there are more important things to prioritize. This is to achieve our goals and dreams in life. And live happily ever after.

                 We must always remember that our health is our wealth. So, we must take good care of it. This is the foundation of our life to attain our goals, without this how will our body and mind work and perform well. And we must always remember that in real life we are the true character of life not in the world of Internet.

                So lessen our overtime in the front of computer to avoid the spreading of Internet Addiction, because Internet Addiction is dangerous to our sight and health. We must prevent this problem as early as we can. Always remember, repentance is always in the end.

THE K-POP INVASION!

If not you must be living in a jungle or a cave.

Nope, just kidding!

All of them are related to Koreans and very popular nowadays. You might be one of their fans here in the Philippines. They already invaded our country with their songs, their style, their shows, etc. some Korean boy bands already conducted a concert here in the Philippines and all is major hit.

They had a large fan base here in the Philippines, not just here but in other Asian countries. A lot of girls are crazy over them. Some are copying their looks and the styles some are already studying their language just to understand them. Hey are you one of them?

I’m not a big fan of them but I was amazed and entertained by their music videos specially the Bonamana of Super Juniors. Actually I like Ki Bum of Super Juniors, and you know what. Their songs are always on top of the list in MYX daily top 10, along with the songs of Justin Bieber. Imagine that.

Koreans also invaded our televisions with their Korean series or Koreanovela as we call it. We actually do our own versions of some of it like my girl, my name is Kim Sam Soon, Stairway to heaven, Endless love and Boys over Flowers made a great hit.

It’s quite impressive how they were able to show us their culture and how we accept it. Like our neighbor country Korea, our country talent is rich in amazing talent just like Charice Pempengco so it’s not impossible that Philippines can invade not just Asia but Hollywood as well. 

WOMEN ARE FROM VENUS… MEN ARE FROM MARS

                Do you agree that men are from mars and women are from Venus? It does not literally mean that men and women are from different planets.. It means that men and women are far different from each other... They were opposite.

                For example, men are tougher than women. Women are modest and vulnerable, should be taken care of and treated with respect.

                Men don’t care too much about their appearance. It only takes them a minute of preparing themselves unlike women. Women can’t go out of the house without checking themselves in the mirror. They’re very much conscious about their look that’s why it takes them an hour fixing their hair, wearing make-up and dressing up.

                When it comes to games, boys like playing exciting, action-packed and violent games such as counterstrike and dota. Girls don’t like violence. They’re contented with pet society and farmville on facebook.

                When it comes to the matters of the heart, men doesn’t show their real emotions. They don’t cry easily. When they like a girl, they will find a way to get her attention but will not admit his feelings instantly. He will first think of possible reactions of the girl before doing any actions.

                Girls are different, they are more transparent. They’re not afraid to cry. When they love, they love wholeheartedly. They will wait for the guy to court them but mind you, they will try their best to hide what they feel in front of that person...but she will do some moves to get his attention. Most girls do that.

                When it comes to breaking up, when a guy says it’s over, it’s really over. But when a girl says that, it means differently. All she wants is a new beginning and a sweet comeback.

                Jejemons are said to be the new “jologs” a term used for Filipinos of the lower income class. I can’t blame them, trying to decipher jejemon speaks fells to me the equivalent of hearing nails on a blackboard.

                Personally I would say given the fact that the Philippines is an English speaking country, the language is considered an “elite” one and used primarily by the educated classes. Maybe these changes in English language are just one way for those not well used in English, whether rich or poor to subvert and own the language, jejemon are people who use of spelling like alternating capitalization of letters and other weird characters like “luarn” instead of “lang”.

                Before im one of the jejemon my sister irritated to me when im texting her “”eow xiz, how are eu? Im ir nha sza housz” and then she replied me “**** ayusin mu nga txt mu” I laugh when I read her replied because I thought she understand what am I saying. Being a jejemon does not make me illiterate, for me writing in a jejemon style is a just one way of expressing ourselves. Everyone has his or her own foolishness, but I do not actually mean that this way of writing is foolish.  What I mean is it gives happiness to jejemons, including me, without affecting our moral values. We should focus on the content of the language not with the way it was writer.

                Jejemon is just a fad. There’s a saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so we jejemons find it beautiful in our eyes and no one can question that.

                We are all jejemons in our own small, helpless ways. Who among us can claim to never have typed even once “TNX” on our cellphone? Before we cast aspersions on spelling and grammar of jejemons , we must first examine the infallibility of our own. That goes for both command of language and tastes in culture.

Premarital Sex

                “If you want to make love with your partner, the safest thing to wear is a… WEDDING RING”.

                This is one of my favorite quotes in my cell phone. Simple and short yet make sense especially nowadays that most of my fellow teens are already engaged in premarital sex.

                Premarital sex refers to sexual intercourse done before the marriage and many youngsters are already doing it. This is quite alarming especially for the parents. I guess, this is the main reason why some parents do not allow their daughters to have boyfriend at their teenage years. They don’t want their children commit mistakes that they will regret later.

                I have friends and friends of my friends who already experienced it. According to them, they didn’t actually planned it. It just happened. I remember before when I’m yelling them about my crush or whenever they see me so kilig with my crush, they would tell me “ang landi mo!”. I just laugh because I know they didn’t mean it. It’s just an expression. They are more mahinhin than me. One of them is boyish pa nga. That’s why I am so shocked when they told me that they already experienced it. My boyish friend got pregnant at the age of seventeen.

                Now, she is living with the father of her child. They already had two kids. I guess she’s happy even if she didn’t turn out the right way.

                I’m not judging them, they are my friends. After some realizations, I got afraid. If my friends didn’t avoid doing it, how will I? I can never say that I will never do the same because I don’t know what’s going to happen next. Hopefully not. I want to remain pure until my wedding day.

                Sex is not a bad thing. Without sex, all of us wouldn’t be here. It is actually a gift of God for married couples for them to have their own children.

                So for us, teens, there is no need to rush. We will experience it someday, at the right time and with the right person. Chill

Peer Pressure: Good or Bad??

                Youth life is a period where we are exposed to the outside world. For me, it is the period of life where I am able to spend most of my time with my friends. I can say that it is the phase of beginning to become independent in life. It is the period of shaping my personality and developing my own principles. As a youth, I often spend most of my time with my friends. And as we bond together, sometimes, I can’t help but imitate some of their deeds. My peers are the people who influence me. Peer pressure is bound to affect most of us, both, positively and negatively. For me, following our peers blindly leaves a negative impact on our life. I think our peers are not only the one to blame if they influenced us negatively. I believe that it is also our responsibility as an individual to choose the right decisions for ourselves.

            I am also influenced by my friends. And I am proud to say that I am wise enough to choose from what is right and wrong. In my own opinion, Peer pressure is not always bad. I believe that it can also help us analyze ourselves and contemplate on our ways of life. With them, we may be able to change ourselves for the better. If we can choose selectively, peer pressure can actually result in a positive change in our ways of life. My peers play a vital role in the shaping of my personality. Some of their ways of looking at life influences me to change for betterment. They are the people who do not pressurize me to do things but rather inspire me to change myself. My peer group actually persuades me to bring about a constructive change in my personality. On my experiences at present days, I can say that peer pressure is beneficial to me.

            I know that some of us are not that firm enough to resist imitating the negative acts of some of our peers. But if you make yourself responsible enough, you might also think that having peer is one of the greatest achievements in life. What I am trying to imply is that it is us who are designing our own future not those people around us. They are just an inspiration for us to become a better person.
